I tried on quite a few pairs of shoes and they were divine. Not only did they not hurt, they looked super chic and made me feel confident. I would definitely wear Vionic shoes to the airport, on the plane and while running errands in hilly San Francisco.
Vionic is more that sneakers. They have a wide variety of heels, boots, mules and ballet flats to choose from. Choosing is the problem. Ha! I received a pair from the launch and will do a full review in a few weeks. Yay! In the meantime, shop the full Vionic Collection online or at their pop-up store in Westfield Center, San Francisco
Who doesn’t love a cup of java on a cold day. It is getting cold here in SF. That only means we can wear more sweaters and leggings. Leggings are my fav. They make your legs look longer and make you look slimmer. During NYFW I wore a few pieces by Castlefied and I had to show you these leggings as well.
Castlefield has a wide variety of leggings in so many different prints. These leggings are so fun. This print is so rich in color and the design is perfectly symmetrical. Most of all these leggings are super stretchy and ladies… they rise over the hump with ease. Yet they are snug and fit the curves of your body.
I wore these leggings for a day of meetings, errands and coffee and I wore them with sneakers and then added my Jimmy Choo heels to attend meetings. They were comfy, sleek and kept their shape despite all of the running around. I received so many compliments and questions about my leggings. I was poppin’.

Libertine is one of my favorite designers. I have had my eyes on them for the past couple of years. Their designs completely align with my aesthetic. I love leopard print, patches, army print and sequins. Libertine has it all. Libertine knows no limits and really pull out all of the stops.
The event was hosted by Neiman Marcus and was full of colorful Libertine pieces on an actual stage. The Curran Theatre’s stage was filled with clothing racks, people and sushi. Guests were ushered onto the stage, presented with a ticket to the show and got to experience the collection in person. There was even a video stream of the NYFW show on the big screen of the theatre. The event concept was on the next level. It is always a treat to spend an evening with fashion, yummy eats and cool drinks. I think the pictures say it all.
Libertine is known for remixing army jackets, glorious capes and printed fabrics. Johnson Hartig, the designer of Libertine attended the event as well and it was pleasure meeting him and discussing his vision for the brand. Johnson Hartig is more than a designer but a major contributor to the world of fashion in San Francisco. Hartig is one of the very few designers who still visits stores, meets with clients and really sells their pieces. Many fashionistas in San Francisco has fallen in love with his clothing and with his vibrant personality. For his contributions to the fashion industry in San Francisco he was awarded a day in San Francisco in his honor. He was presented with this honor by the former Mayor of San Francisco, Willie Brown. Along with his acceptance speech and a round of applause, Hartig sang a tune and reminded all of the guests of why he is one of the best and most personable people in the business.
Libertine is always pushing the envelope and making fashion fun. Some people take fashion too seriously. Instead fashion is suppose to be an extension of who you are. My fav piece of the night was this beautiful coat. I even found a gorgeous coat for my husband. See the photos above. If you are looking for a fun statement piece to your Fall collection, pick up a piece from Libertine at Neiman Marcus.
Congrats to Johnson Hartig. San Francisco Loves you.
