Glossier is a non-traditional beauty start up. I initially learned about the brand during my “ I am obsessed with start ups” days. I was obessed with start ups at one point. I knew every single start up in the world.
Lead my Emily Weiss, Glossier recently raised a second round of funding to the tune of $24 million to expand the brand and diversify the product line. In just two years, Glossier has grown into 55+ team with a focus on customer service and practical beauty products. You can schedule your orders or order according to your skincare needs. Girlboss businesses are my forte so I was happy to make a purchase to try the products.
The Milky Jelly Cleanser is a conditioning facewash. The consistency is actually a white jelly. Almost like coconut jelly. Kinda yuck but applies smoothly on your face. It is unscented which some people may like. When you press the pump dispenser, the bottle releases just enough product for one wash. I usually use two pumps because I use it to remove my makeup and want a full clean. This leads me to my only negative about the product. Glossier claims that the Milky Jelly Cleanser should be able to take off your eye makeup… umm it doesn’t. They wish. It cleanses your skin but doesn’t take off makeup sorry! The price is not that bad at $18 and it comes with fun stickers you can put on the bottle as decoration. Super fun.
" They’re supplements for your face: potent, fast-absorbing treatment serums packed with vital nutrients to bring your skin the boost it needs today. Because you’re not just a “skin type”—your needs change throughout the month, and your product lineup should help you adapt." -Glossier. com.
Yeah I need them!
Glossier you inspire me and your products looks fab. The Milky Cleanser is a great moisturizing cleanser but doesn’t live up to the makeup removal promise. But that is ok. I love the stickers. The Balmdot.com is great for my elbows and in between my fingers but not on my lips.
Keep raising funds Glossier. You are on to something.
